Dublin in 2019
A bid for Worldcon 77 in Dublin, Ireland in 2019. Site Selection voting takes place this year at Worldcon 75. Vote in the Exhibits Hall.
NASFiC Bid for 2019
Utah Fandom Organization that is hosting Westercon 72, the USA’s West Coast Regional Science Fantasy Convention. They will also bid for NASFiC 2019 should an overseas bid win the 77th Worldcon vote. Their goal is to bring both conventions to Layton, Utah, USA for one combined event! Pre-support today and join the 2019 team.

Scandinavian Science Fiction Association, was founded in 1960 with the aim to promote the interest in Science Fiction in Sweden and the other Nordic countries. Since then the sphere of interest has broadened to include fantasy and horror.
Finnish Comics Society

The Finnish Comics Society was founded in conjunction with an international exhibition in Helsinki in 1971. It is an association of makers, readers, collectors and researchers of comics. The society presents comics both to the wider public as well as to the cultural establishment. It aims to promote the awareness and critical reading of comics and to gain respect for the art form. In recent years the association has been active in launching several new cultural export projects as well as new websites and online services for comics lovers
Suomen Tolkien-seura Kontu ry (The Finnish Tolkien Society)
The Finnish Tolkien Society Kontu is an organisation for the friends of Tolkien’s works, and other fantasy literature as well, all over Finland. Our members include all kinds of fans. Some know the entire work of Tolkien almost by heart, while others are just generally interested in fantasy.

It is an affiliate of The Student Union of the University of Turku and therefore its primary target group are the students of Turku university. H. P. Lovecraft – Historiallinen seura ry (The H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society)
H.P. Lovecraft – Historical Society is a club devoted to Horror, Sci-Fi and Fantasy writer Howard Phillips Lovecraft, founded in summer 2010. The purpose of the Society is to maintain and promote the interest in horror, to support the literary pursuits of its members, to share information about H.P. Lovecraft, and to produce, as far as possible, other lovecraftian activities.
Helsingin Science Fiction Seura ry (Helsinki Science Fiction Society)
Tähtivaeltaja is a 100-page magazine published by the Helsinki Science Fiction Society. It comes out 4 times a year.
Helsingin Yliopiston Science Fiction -Klubi ry (Helsinki University Science Fiction Club)
The University of Helsinki Science Fiction club (HYSFK) was founded on 13 October 1987. The club’s mission is to promote the role of science fiction and fantasy literature in college and to act as a meeting point for enthusiasts.
Espoo science fiction- ja fantasiaseura ESC ry (Espoo Science Fiction and Fantasy Society ESC)
ESC was founded in the spring 2004. The society publishes the Escape magazine, organises the ESCON convention and has meetings twice a month.
Future Affairs Administration (FAA)
A group of Chinese SF fans who are working on establishing a SF community in China. We have some of the most well-known writers, critics and scholars, supported by top scientists and researchers in China. Over the past two yeas, we have participated in a wide variety of both online and off-line activities, including panel discussions, film streaming, book clubs, etc. We have also helped organized conventions focusing on technology, comics, and other aspects of popular culture. Our new media platform, Non-Exist Media, is a futurologist/technology fanzine, where our contributors keep exploring the unknown world with imagination and cutting-edge technology. Our fan table at Worldcon75 would present almost everything about China you might want to know, including a special “custom” in Chinese SF circle that we call “luchuanr”. Come and find out what that means! There will be different topics everyday, and you would have new experience every time you stop by. Please ask our staff for a timetable.
Science Fiction Club Deutschland (SFCD)
The Science Fiction Club Deutschland (SFCD), founded in 1955, is the oldest SF association in Germany and has currently 350 members. It publishes four issues of its newszine Andromeda Nachrichten and one or two issues of Andromeda SF Magazin per year and administrates the prestigious German SF Award.
Polish Fan Initatives
Polish Fan Initiatives fantable represents several groups and fan organisations from Poland – science fiction and fantasy, manga and anime, RPG and LARP conventions and events (including Polcon, the oldest Polish science fiction convention, organized each year in a different place), Fantastic Women Writers of Poland literary group, Alpaka Publishing Group, “Smokopolitan” fanzine, and also the Union of Fan Associations “Fandom Polski” as well as Kraków – UNESCO City of Literature. Deepcon (also Eurocon 2021 bid)
Deepcon 19 is a convention dedicated to all science fiction, fantasy and horror, which will take place in Fiuggi, Italy from March 15 to March 18, 2018. They are also bidding for the 2021 Eurocon.

Swecon and Swedish Fandom

Swecon is the Swedish National SF Convention. In 2018 it will be in Stockholm.
Octocon
Octocon is the Irish National SF Convention. In 2017 it will be held in Dublin.
Eastercon 2018 (Follycon)
Follycon will be the 69th British National Science Fiction Convention, or Eastercon. It will be held at The Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, from 30 March – 2 April 2018.
Eastercon 2019 (Ytterbium)
Ytterbium will be the 2019 Eastercon, the British National Science Fiction Convention, held over the Easter weekend, 19-22 April 2019. The convention will be held at the Park Inn, Heathrow.
Finncon 2018
Finncon is one of the largest volunteer-organized science fiction and fantasy convention in Europe. At the moment The Science Fiction Culture Cabinet at The University of Turku (Tutka) is in the process of arranging the event in Turku in 2018.
